About Us:
At Trent & Vale Education, we believe education should be about more than what happens in a classroom.
We take a creative, individualised approach to learning, recognising that young people develop in different ways and that there is no single approach that works for everyone. Our aim is to create opportunities for young people to learn, grow and succeed through experiences that are meaningful to them.
Academic development is an important part of what we do, but it is only one part of the picture. We also focus on social development, confidence, independence, communication, resilience and the practical skills young people need to navigate life beyond education.
We believe learning can happen in many different environments and through many different experiences. Sometimes that means traditional academic support; sometimes it means learning through practical activities, real-world experiences, creativity, conversation, problem-solving or simply finding a different way to engage a young person.
Our approach is built around the individual. We take the time to understand their strengths, interests, needs and aspirations, then develop support that reflects who they are and how they learn best.
Founded in 2026, Trent & Vale Education exists to provide education that is flexible, purposeful and engaging — helping young people develop not only as learners, but as individuals.
Because education doesn't stop at the classroom door.
Safeguarding
At Trent & Vale Education, the safety, wellbeing and welfare of every young person we work with is at the heart of what we do.
We recognise that every young person is an individual, and safeguarding is an important part of creating an environment where they feel safe, respected, listened to and able to learn.
We maintain appropriate safeguarding procedures and take our responsibilities seriously when working with children and young people. Matt holds an Enhanced DBS certificate and is registered with the DBS Update Service.
We work closely with parents and carers and encourage open communication throughout our support. Any concerns relating to a young person’s safety or wellbeing will be taken seriously and managed in line with our safeguarding procedures and relevant guidance.
Our aim is to create a positive, professional and safe environment where young people can develop confidence, learn and make progress.
